Holding hands may seem like an innocent gesture, but they show more than a simple interlocking of fingers. Your hands are one of the most essential parts of your body: you build with them, feed with them, hold with them, touch with them, fight with them; they are the tools of the human body. To take a hold of another’s hand is to break from living individually. It is to link yourself to another being, to momentarily entwine your life with another’s, to promise, for a moment, that you need not face the world alone. More simple, more aesthetically naive than other forms of affection, i.e kissing, hugging, sexing.., the act of holding hands is often trivialized in its true implications.

interesting.

This Is exactly me right now.

When people are ready to, they change. They never do it before then, and sometimes they die before they get around to it. You can’t make them change if they don’t want to, just like when they do want to, you can’t stop them.

Play Grounds
I miss the days where no one cared what they wore, didn’t care if you got dirt on you jeans/dress, or even worrying about appearance. I mean the only thing we really worried about was getting “Coodies” from a boy or a girl, but other than that those were the days were we could just do what ever and have fun. Of course we can do what ever now, but back then? we were just learning what was right from wrong and didn’t know any better. On the Play grounds_ sliding down the slides, swinging across the monkey bars, or climbing to the top of the Dome. Then, you may not have realized it but by you doing all those things, is just a small way of you learning about your way in life. For example: Sliding down the Slides, is the beginning of you growing up where if you make a mistake, you can go to the top of the slide and try again. Swinging across the Monkey Bars, a part in life where you’re learning whats right from wrong, reaching for that next bar to find out what’s going to happen next. Climbing to the top of the Dome, after dealing with the negative and positive things in life, all your hard work has paid off to get you to where/what you want to go/do in life. So don’t think that “Play Grounds” are in your past because in reality, your life is like a Play Ground and your childhood will always be will you.

Solo Cups: Knowledge
I was curious about the lines on solo cups the other weekend and learned something amazing. This information should be taught in an intro class to all high schoolers and college students.
It turns out that the lines of the solo cup allows you to measure out a shot, a glass of wine, and a beer. This would have been ridiculously helpful during my partying years!

The scariest thing about distance is that you don’t know if they’ll miss you or forget you.

The things others would do to be in our place.
